Every night of the Stanley Cup playoffs, TSN hockey analyst and former NHL goaltender Jamie McLennan breaks down each goalies performance. Jamies number grades given are out of five, with five being the best mark. Tuukka Rask, Boston (4) - Outstanding in first period, gave Boston chance to settle in, big saves on Datsyuk and Tatar in second period to keep it close at 2-1. Robbed Abdelkader in OT, cant stress enough how poised he is in the net, makes it look easy, and rarely out of position. Jonas Gustavsson, Detroit (4) - Surprise start, responded well, especially not busy early but showed great poise, no chance on first goal as it was tipped in front. Not overly challenged but got better and more confident as the game went on, Big saves on Soderberg and Eriksson in OT, no chance on the game winner as it was deflected twice. Jonathan Quick, Los Angeles (4) - Locked in early on, with big saves on Burns and Pavelski, explosive saves on Marleau and Vlasic in the third to preserve the lead. He better managed his crease, not as erratic and out of control as we have seen last few games. Antti Niemi, San Jose (2) - Big saves on King and Richards early in game, second goal was stoppable based on a tough angle shot that he is unable to corral, had rebound issues all night long that cost him, not as sharp as he has been in past games. Semyon Varlamov, Colorado (4) - Putting a show on again, the only reason the Avs were in the game after the first period. His crease work is so fast and explosive, very tough to beat him low as well as in tight. Parise, Koivu, McCormick, Spurgeon, Brodziak, Granlund, Moulson (three times) and Pominville for starters had great chances, not much chance on both goals on a one-timer from slot and bad bounce off the back board. He is the only reason this series has been close. Darcy Kuemper, Minnesota (4) - Tough mentally to watch the goalie at the other end standing on his head and face all the shots. He was not busy whatsoever, the goal looked to hit his own man in front and go five-hole, but showed poise when needed to get the win and saved his best work for the last few minutes with big saves on Benoit and OReilly. Had a few puck handling issues that almost cost him, but kept it on the rails, solid again. Nike Vortak Sale . Kerr said he had dinner with Jackson, his former coach with Chicago and the new Knicks team president, on Friday night and they talked again Saturday. Kerr is in New York to work the game between the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors for TNT. Air Max 1 Sale . Heck, we might just miss the BCS. Maybe? It sort of worked out this season. Top-ranked Florida State (13-0) was the only team to get through the regular season unbeaten, and the Seminoles did it in dominating fashion. https://www.wholesaleshoesforcheap.com/salomon-shoes-sale/ .A. Dickey, even though he was coming off a Cy Young Award in 2012. Many felt the Jays would regret giving up righthanded pitcher prospect Noah Syndergaard and catcher Travis DArnaud over the long haul. Air Jordan 18 Sale . As Valanciunas was whistled for a rare technical toward the end of the third quarter - a result of waving his hand at an official after being called for a foul - Lowry pulled the Raptors sophomore aside, corralling him by his jersey and patting him on the back. Giannis Antetokounmpo Shoes Sale . Villar connected off Joe Saunders (11-14), sending a drive well over the left-field fence for his first career homer. The Astros scored six times in the first three innings to chase Saunders.Detroit, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Robert Martin and Josh Hicks combined for more than 300 yards rushing and three touchdowns, as Rutgers rolled past North Carolina, 40-21, in the Quick Lane Bowl. Martin ended the day with 100 yards and reached the end zone twice, with Hicks earning MVP honors after racking up 202 yards and another TD on 19 carries. Gary Nova threw for 184 yards and scores to Andrew Turzilli and Andre Patton for the Scarlet Knights (8-5), who claimed their first bowl win since beating Iowa State in the Pinstripe Bowl in December of 2011. Marquise Williams finished 25-of-37 for 198 yards with a touchdown through the air and one on the ground for the Tar Heels (6-7), who failed in their bid for a second straight postseason victory. Mitch Trubisky finished up with a touchdown pass on 7-of-9 efficiency. T.J. Logan compiled 110 yards on 14 carries, while Kendrick Singleton and Jack Tabb posted a scoring catch apiece in defeat. Kyle Federico connected from 31 yards out with 10:04 to play before the Tar Heels began a late comeback when Williams found Tabb for a 7-yard score on North Carolinas ensuing possession. UNC recovered the onside kick, setting up at their own 46, then closed within 40-21 when Trubisky was under center and hit Singleton for a 1-yard score inside of five minutes to go. North Carolina could have closed the gap further on its next series, but had a potential TD called back on offensive pass interference before Trubisky threw out of bounds on 4th-and-4 from the Rutgers 8-yard line. Hicks 49-yard run on 2nd-and-5 proved to be the lone first down the Scarlet Knights needed in order to bleeed the final 2:47 off the clock.dddddddddddd Pattons 34-yard strike on the opening 75-yard, five-play series put Rutgers on the board, and a 21-yard dash to paydirt from Hicks gave the Knights a 14-0 edge three snaps into the second quarter. The latter score was set up when the Rutgers defense held firm on a Joey Mangili run during a fake field goal try, leaving the nascent Big Ten program at its own 9-yard line late in the opening period. On the Tar Heels next touch, Romar Morris fumbled, and the ball was recovered by Lorenzo Waters at the UNC 49. It took just five plays for a 20-0 game as Martin took it in from the eight, but the extra point failed. UNCs Thomas Moore had a 31-yard field goal attempt blocked by Waters, several series before Federico capped the half with a successful 19-yard try to make it 23-0. North Carolina finally reached the end zone on the initial series of the third quarter when Williams scored from 1 yard away to punctuate a 12-play march. But Rutgers struck back on a 34-yard Nova pass to Turzilli and assumed a 30- point lead two plays into the fourth when Martin burst through for a 28-yard run on 2nd-and-9. Game Notes Martin and Hicks joined Ray Rice (three times) and Jawan Jamison as the only Rutgers backs to rush for 100 yards in a bowl game ... The teams combined for 1,006 yards of total offense, with Rutgers claiming 524 yards by itself ... These programs met for the sixth time overall and for the first time in the postseason, with Rutgers evening the series at three wins apiece ... North Carolinas losing record was its first since 2007. ' ' '
