| CLEVELAND -- Hamilton forward Gabriel Dumont scored the only goal of the shootout as the Bulldogs snapped a six-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over the Lake Erie Monsters in American Hockey League action on Saturday. Former Bulldog and current Monsters forward J.T. Wyman scored shorthanded 5:30 into the third period to tie the game 2-2, with an assist to forward Brad Malone. The 2-2 tie held up through overtime before Dumont scored the only goal of the shootout to seal the victory for Hamilton. Tokarski made 28 saves on 30 shots in the Bulldogs net, while Pickard made 33 saves on 35 shots for the Monsters. Hamilton went 1-for-5 on the power play, while Lake Erie went 0-for-4.
